Virginia football nabbed its 7th commitment in the 2016 class
In one of the shortest recruitments in recent memory, Virginia got a commitment Thursday from three-star Courtland athlete Nick Grant. Grant's commitment comes in record time as he only received his offer from the Hoos on Tuesday. His pledge comes at the perfect time as Grant was scheduled to visit Blacksburg next week.
Grant is listed as an athlete, and the video above shows him playing wide receiver, cornerback and returning punts, but he is likely slated to play cornerback at Virginia. As his highlight tape shows, Grant has excellent hands, a great nose for the ball and the ability to bust loose and turn routine plays into big gains.
