Villanova defensive end Tanoh Kpassagnon named CAA Football Defensive Player of the Week

The Colonial Athletic Association released their weekly awards this morning, and Villanova Wildcats' defensive end Tanoh Kpassagnon was named the league's Defensive Player of the Week, for his contribution to the 31-14 win at Lafayette College on Saturday. In that game, Kpassagnon had seven total tackles (five solo), three tackles for a loss, two quarterback sacks, a fumble recovery, and a touchdown.

His fumble recovery came on the first play from scrimmage, and he returned the ball 25 yards for a touchdown. According to the CAA:

Kpassagnon recorded seven tackles, three tackles for loss and two sacks in Villanova's 31-14 road triumph at Lafayette last Saturday.
