Happy Tuesday, ‘Nova Nation! Former Connecticut Huskies head coach Jim Calhoun is back in the news because he might be back on a bench soon. Calhoun battled some very serious health issues - part of the reason he retired - but he apparently has the itch to coach again.
Rumor has it that he may lead the upstart St. Joseph team in West Hartford. That sounds like a pretty low-stress environment for a guy who clearly misses his profession.
That’s assuming Jim Calhoun can make a D3 job low-stress, and I remember his pressers all too well.
