Mark your calendars, ‘Nova Nation. 2018 verbal commitment Brandon Slater and Team Takeover will play for the Peach Jam championship on Sunday afternoon after a furious comeback to defeat Bradley Beal Elite 64-63 in the semifinals on Saturday night.
Slater shot 4-7 from the field for 11 points while former target and Maryland verbal Jalen Smith was immense down the stretch in the come-from-behind victory. Takeover was down double-digits with just over 4 minutes remaining before storming back.
Takeover will take on the Oakland Soliders in the championship game. Because the game will be on TV you should get a good look at Slater if you haven’t seen him before.
