Villanova great Ed Pinckney made a video recently to encourage Villanova fans to support Supernova — a team consisting of Villanova basketball alumni -- for a spot in The Basketball Tournament (TBT). TBT is an event that features a number of teams, selected by fans by voting on their site.
VU Hoops recently noted the launch of the campaign to get Supernova into the field in a FanPost by the team’s organizer J23green. The team includes notables like Scottie Reynolds, Malcolm Grant, JayVaughn Pinkston and others from recent Wildcats teams. They need to make the top-9 in fan voting to get a guaranteed spot in the field, however, and are currently short of that goal.
