The Vanderbilt Commodores gained their seventh commitment of their 2016 recruiting class as Sunshine State defensive back prospect Frank Coppet committed to the team over the weekend.

Coppet impressed the coaching staff while attending the team's recent Friday Night Lights camp enough to receive a scholarship offer. Coppet quickly accepted the offer and gave his pledge to the Commodores.
