Barrage of threes buries High Point, 90-63

The Vanderbilt Commodores were unbelievably hot from the field on Tuesday night.

Like, NBA Jam “HE’S ON FIRE” hot. The Commodores broke the school single-game record with 19 three-pointers and shot 58 percent from the floor, easily dispatching the High Point Panthers by a score of 90 to 63.

Granted, for much of the first half the game was fairly close. High Point went into the half down just 50-42 after shooting 8-of-9 on threes themselves in the first half. But the Panthers cooled off considerably in the second half, while Vanderbilt stayed hot all night. The result was a fairly comfortable victory.
