Three-star athlete Miles Jones eventually will make his way to Nashville after committing to Vanderbilt on Sunday.
“It’s the best academic university in the SEC in a nice city that I could see myself in after college,” Jones told GN. “After going to the Ole Miss game last season and then watching them win over Tennessee, I knew then that the coaches and the players were committed to being a big-time contender.”
Jones (5 feet 9, 170 pounds), from perennial power Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage, chose Vanderbilt over numerous other offers, including Georgia, Kentucky and Mississippi State from the SEC.
