Recently-traded David Price suffers a tire blowout, among other things, on his way to Toronto. He is expected to miss his scheduled press conference this afternoon.
Being traded is a big deal. There's a lot that goes into it. You're basically uprooting your life and moving to a new city with no notice. You have to get travel arrangements and set up a temporary living situation while doing your job the very same day. It can be very stressful, even if you're not dealing with normal every-day problems like a car tire blowing out.
While some people may think all baseball players live the glamorous life, David Price reminds us that he's just like everybody else.
