Vanderbilt wins 7-3 in Buehler's Kentucky homecoming

After a tough first inning in which he gave up three runs, Buehler settled down to pitch five scoreless innings en route to a 7-3 victory in the rubber game of their road series against the Wildcats.

From the second inning on, Buehler struck out five and allowed just three hits (all singles) and two walks. His final line on the day was six innings with three earned runs allowed on seven hits with five strikeouts and two walks.

Just like the first two games of the series, Vanderbilt struck first with a run in the opening inning.
