Winter Showcase Day 3: Whitecaps FC Residency U-16 dominant in 4-0 win over Philadelphia Union

LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL – Vancouver Whitecaps FC Residency U-16 put forth a clinical 90-minute performance on Saturday, winning 4-0 over Philadelphia Union U-16 at the 2016 Development Academy Winter Showcase.

Midfielder Gurman Sangha put the 'Caps up in the opening minutes, then forward Jefferson Alade added a first-half brace for a three-goal halftime lead. Substitute Keisean Brooks padded the lead in the 80th minute for the final score, extending the U-16 boys' undefeated streak to five matches.

Evan Ince recorded the clean sheet for Vancouver.

The U-16s get an off day on Sunday before wrapping up the Winter Showcase and the calendar year when they meet Kendall SC U-16 on Monday.
