Affiliate club Whitecaps London were honoured by Ontario Soccer this week with the highest standard given out by the provincial body - the Gold Club Excellence Award.
Fellow affiliate club Ottawa South United were also honoured with the Gold Club Excellence Award. The clubs are two of only 20 total in the province to meet the Gold standard, while Whitecaps London are the only one in their district to receive a Club Excellence Award.
This ground-breaking program entered the Canadian landscape in 2007 and continues to draw attention from Provincial Sport Organizations, National Sport Organizations and Multi Sport Organizations.
