Whitecaps FC U-19 and U-17 Residency teams have learned their opponents for the upcoming Development Academy Winter Showcase.
Both teams will have at least three fantastic tests at the Premier Sports Campus in Lakewood Ranch, Florida.
The U-19s (8-1-0) enter with the third best record in the Development Academy. They are drawn against Sockers FC, as well as MLS rivals and traditional academy powerhouses FC Dallas and New York Red Bulls. Sockers (5-0-3) and Red Bulls (12-0-0) are both undefeated, with the Red Bulls having the best record in the entire 74-team academy league. FC Dallas (4-2-1), meanwhile, are just two seasons removed from sweeping the academy championships for both age groups.
