Whitecaps FC U-16s started their run in the Academy Playoffs with a comprehensive 3-0 win over Houston Dynamo Academy on Thursday.
Jose Hernandez opened the scoring when he put home a penalty kick in the third minute. Jefferson Alade then doubled the advantage in the 53rd minute, calmly volleying home a ball in the box.

Hernandez then scored his second of the match, tapping in a great cross from Jake Ruby.
