VANCOUVER, BC - The 2016 Media SuperDraft took place on Friday night ahead of Tuesday's Whitecaps FC Media Invitational (#WFCMI) at BC Place, among team captains Carlo Corazzin, Nick Dasovic, Paul Dolan, and Perry Solkowski, with BC Soccer and striker extraordinaire Peter Lonergan selected first.
Walking WFC almanac Brandon Timko, FTBL podcast phenom Jorge Mendoza, and songbird/midfielder Marie Hui, who's known to always deliver on the big stage, round out the first round.
The four teams, each going by a different Champions League team name this year, will vie for the highly coveted WFC Media Cup, the holy grail of all sporting events where you have to rate yourself from 1 to 5.
