Whitecaps FC U-17 Residency played their second match at the Development Academy Winter Showcase on Saturday, taking on Weston FC and falling to only their second defeat of the season.
After a strong 2-0 win over New York City FC to open the showcase, it was not the 'Caps day as they fell 4-0.
"The result isn't reflective of the game, but at the end of the day we weren't driven enough today to win the match," head coach Adam Day told whitecapsfc.com. "We didn't take our first chance and they did, all in the first minute.
