Regan records assist as Canada defeat host Honduras 2-0 in CONCACAF U-20 Women's Championship

SAN PEDRO SULA, HONDURAS - Sarah Stratigakis recorded a first-half brace and Vancouver Whitecaps FC Girls Elite REX defender Emma Regan registered another assist in Canada's 2-0 win over host Honduras to finish atop Group A in the CONCACAF U-20 Women's Championship on Tuesday.

It was the second assist in as many games for the 15-year-old Regan, who was named the 2015 Whitecaps FC Most Promising Player last October.

Head coach Daniel Worthington's side jumped to an early lead when Shana Flynn and Alex Lamontagne-Maycock combined to set up Stratigakis for a close-distance shot through traffic five minutes into the match.
