The last time the two teams met was back on April 16, when the ‘Caps managed to edge out T2 1-0 at Providence Park. On that date, goalkeeper Sean Melvin stepped up in a huge way, making five saves to keep Portland off the scoresheet, while forward Thomas Sanner managed to punch in the only goal of the game off a Gloire Amanda rebound shot.
