SAINT PAUL, Minn. — Welcome back, Radim Vrbata. The Vancouver Canucks have really missed you.
You remember Vrbata? The guy who scored a team-high 31 goals last season?
Well, he finally returned Wednesday. Vrbata, seemingly snake-bitten this National Hockey League season, scored two goals as the Canucks began their latest road trip with a 3-2 win over the Minnesota Wild at the Xcel Energy Center.
It didn’t come easy. The Canucks had to weather a shaky start and a frantic finish before handing the Wild just their second loss on home ice this season.
It was a win the Canucks desperately needed.
