The Vancouver Canucks announced a trade, sending goaltender Anders Nilsson and winger Darren Archibald to Ottawa in exchange for Tom Pyatt, Mike McKenna and a 2019 6th round pick. Those are a lot of beards moving around. And yes, Pyatt is Taylor‘s brother.
Pyatt is on the decline and it appears the Sens were happy to get rid of his $1.1 million contract. After being waived yesterday, most of his salary will be buried in the minors and he will replace the void left by Darren Archibald.
