Who would have thought there would be a time when the Vancouver Canucks fall to second in the Pacific Division because the Edmonton Oilers pass them. We are only six games into the season, but the start was surprising for both the Oilers and the Canucks. Vancouver even had the best start into an NHL season in franchise history, but lost its chance to improve it in a 4-2 loss against the Anaheim Ducks.
The Canucks fell behind 1-0 and 2-1, but were able to tie it up both times. But, to be honest, they were never really close to winning.
