Canucks Game Day: Horvat Tries to Stay Hot vs. Flames

There hasn’t been a whole lot for Vancouver Canucks fans to cheer about since their 4-0-0 start to the season. If there’s something to appreciate, consider the case of third-year centre Bo Horvat.

Expectations were mounting for the former London Knights star when he was essentially swapped for Cory Schneider at the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. Former general manager Mike Gillis only got the ninth selection for a top-10 NHL goaltender, but it’s paid major dividends so far.

Horvat leads the team in scoring with 18 goals and 39 points. According to ESPN.
