Henrik Sedin has a chance to do just that this evening. He only needs one point to get there. And while there isn’t a rush with 36 games remaining in Vancouver’s season, it would be extra special to score it at home.
After tonight’s game, the Canucks depart for three games on the road.
Sure, fans in Chicago, Colorado and Arizona will understand and appreciate seeing a rival player achieve something that significant. But it certainly won’t get the same fanfare as it would in a game at home in Vancouver.
