The Miners, who won two of three from Middle Tennessee last weekend, will step back into Helen of Troy Softball Field Saturday and Sunday for a three-game series with Southern Miss. The party will get started at 3 p.m. Saturday when the two teams begin a double header and on 11 a.m. Sunday for a single game.
The Miners enter this key Conference USA matchup with a 2-4 record in league play and an overall mark of 7-19. Southern Miss broke a four-game losing streak Wednesday with a 2-1 non-conference win over South Alabama in Hattiesburg.
