UTEP concluded its season Wednesday with an eighth place finish at the Conference USA Women's Golf Championships in Ft. Myers, Fla.
The Miners had rounds of 307-299-303 for a 54-hole total of 909. They were just two shots behind UAB at 907 in seventh place and three shots back of Western Kentucky at 906 in sixth place in the 11-team tournament. Old Dominion won the event with a three-day total of 876.
Jenna Burris of Middle Tennessee won the individual title with a 54-hole total of 209.
Lily Downs led UTEP, finishing in a tie for ninth place with rounds of 75-74-73 for a 222.
