Price rips fans' 'Fire Floyd' sign at UTEP game

Former UTEP football coach Mike Price never let angry Miner fans get to him during his nine years at the helm of that program, but that changed Saturday night at the Don Haskins Center.

After the UTEP men's basketball team's 79-67 loss to Northwestern State, Price got in the face of one UTEP fan holding a sign calling for the firing of basketball coach Tim Floyd.

Price physically ripped the "F" away from the fan, who with others were holding up letters spelling "Fire Floyd." Price confronted the man holding the "F" in "Fire" and then Price was led away by security.
