Aaron Jones continued his march up UTEP's career lists on a night where he scored three touchdowns and crested 100 yards with 113 on 21 carries in a 52-49 triple-overtime victory against UTSA.
He now has 3,187 yards to remain in third but now is just 279 short of Howard Jackson for second. His one touchdown run gives him 24 for his career and puts him alone in fifth, just one behind Jackson and two behind Marcus Thomas for third. He tied Jackson for the second-most 100 yards games in a career with 14, two behind John Harvey.
