For being one of the better college track athletes in America, Lucia Mokrasova doesn't get to win much.
That's the lot of an elite heptathlete, which Mokrasova most certainly is. She was third in the shot put and fifth in the javelin last week at Cal, she was fourth in the 400 meter run at UTEP's home meet and second in the high jump.
That's mostly what her season has looked like to this point. She has done one heptathlon, at the Texas Relays, and did enough to rank eighth in the NCAA, but before and since has been a succession of individual events.
