McGill Knocks off UTEP For Second Time in Two Days

Five Miners scored in double figures, including four with 13, but it wasn’t enough as McGill continued their hot shooting from three and dropped UTEP for the second time in two days.

UTEP opened a bit slow, quickly falling behind 10-2 early in the first quarter before a 14-0 run turned that deficit into a 16-10 lead just minutes later. McGill would get it going from deep though, nailing two threes in a row to even things up at 16 at the end of the fist.

Another slow start to the second would put the Miners in a hole, but a 15-2 run that included 6 straight from Trey Wade would put them back out in front, and they would hold on to a slim lead at 39-35 at the half.
