While Zach Greenlee will be UTEP's starting quarterback Friday night against Arizona, UTEP coach Sean Kugler indicated freshman Mark Torrez could get some snaps.
Torrez, an Eastwood alum, played for a series against Oklahoma and one play against Rice.
"I've been preparing for this since camp, getting ready," Torrez said. "You never know when you're going to get in."
Said Kugler" "Mark is very athletic, he is the guy that can get out of things when nothing presents itself, he can make plays with his legs. ... I wouldn't rule out that we we'll see both quarterbacks in this game and a mixture of other things.
