The Conference USA basketball tournament is headed to the North Dallas suburb of Frisco where for the first time it will be a neutral-site tournament from March 7-10, 2018. It will also be there in 2019.
It will be held March 7-10 at the Ford Center at The Star, a facility owned by the Dallas Cowboys, in partnership with the University of North Texas, the Dallas Cowboys and Visit Frisco. The University of North Texas, about 30 miles away, will officially host the tournament
UTEP had, as it almost always does, expressed interest in hosting the tournament, which had rotated among C-USA schools but had been in Birmingham, Ala.
