PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. – Senior Sarah Richter and the duo of sophomore Margo Pletcher and freshman Brianna Turley represented the Utes today in the qualifying rounds of the ITA Championships at the Riviera Tennis Club.
Richter fell in the first round to Victoria Salazar Garza of Syracuse University (6-2, 6-4) and also lost in the back draw of the competition to Paige Hourigan of Georgia Tech (6-1, 6-1).
Pletcher and Turley suffered a loss to the University of Florida’s duo of Brianna Morgan and Anna Danilina, 8-6. In the consolation draw, the Ute tandem lost to the team of Lindsey Hodge and Alison Ho of Rice University, 8-0.
