The Utah Utes will take those cupcakes, thank you very much.
"College football season gets underway tonight with the University of Michigan in a cupcake game against Utah," reads the blurb for Sept. 3 in Popular Mechanics magazine's recent monthly calendar.
The Utes did not take kindly to that assessment of the season opener between Michigan and Utah, which ripped Michigan 26-10 last season in Ann Arbor. Meanwhile, this contest against the Harbaugh-ized Wolverines will take place at the Utes' Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City.
