Today the Utah Athletic Department and Coach Krystkowiak released the non-conference schedule for the upcoming season. As has been the norm, it’s a pretty light schedule, with a couple of good challenges mixed in. Namely Missouri, Butler, and in state schools USU and BYU. Yep, BYU is on the schedule, and it’s being played in Provo, so hopefully that will calm some people down in Provo, and up on Capital Hill. One bummer is that Xavier isn’t making the return trip to SLC to fulfill the home and home, because the Big East canceled the game. I haven’t seen a reason yet, but Xavier’s AD is open to rescheduling the game.
