South Jordan (Utah) Bingham 2017 four-star center Branden Carlson has committed to the hometown Utah Utes. He is rated the No. 69 overall prospect according to Scout.com, and they have him listed at 6’ 10” 210 pounds. Utah landed him over offers from BYU, Stanford, UNLV, and UCLA among others. He is the top rated player in the Beehive state in the 2017 class.

Carlson adds to Utah’s 2017 recruiting class, which also includes Hyrum (Utah) Mountain Crest three-star small forward Jaxon Brenchley. Carlson did not receive his first offer until April of this year, but he has come on strong as of late and reeled in some nice offers before committing to the Runnin’ Utes.
