Uniform and helmet news is a big deal, especially when Utah unveils a new helmet, like they did just before the USC game. Utah will be sporting the new “Handcrafted” helmet for the blackout game, and it’s, as the kids call it, fire. The drum and feather look airbrushed onto the helmet, and there is a glossy black with some sparkle to it. Whew, I dig this look, it’s very unique.
Utah was initially going with the black helmet with the large, chrome drum and feather, but it appeares they unveiled the new helmet to the players within the last day or so.
