Logan • Koby McEwen, a prized 6-foot-4 guard from Wasatch Academy, announced Monday he will attend Utah State.
McEwen is a four-star recruit, according to Rivals.com, which ranks him as the 104th-best prospect in the country among 2016 recruits.
McEwen burst onto the national recruiting scene in August at the Adidas Nation event in Long Beach, Calif. Against some of the top players from around the world, he averaged 21 points, five rebounds, three steals and 2.8 assists.
"Very tough, very hard-nosed," said Wasatch Academy coach Curtis Condie. "He's a guard who can score and distribute the basketball.
