COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Utah State Aggies' chance to compete in the NCAA Tournament has finally arrived.
After winning the Mountain West Conference Tournament last weekend, the Aggies received an automatic bid to the Big Dance, and as an 8-seed, will face the 9th-seeded Washington Huskies on Friday evening.
Utah State (28-6) has gone 17-1 in its last 18 games, and is riding a 10-game win streak. Washington (26-8), meanwhile, is just 4-3 in its last seven games.
The contest is set to begin at 4:50 p.m. MT and can be seen on TNT.
