LOGAN —Utah State’s Kyle Morris and Brenn Flint have been named the Mountain West Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Field Athletes of the Week, it was announced Wednesday by the conference office.
For Flint, it is her first weekly honor this track season and third of her career, while it is the first accolade for Morris in his career.
Morris, a native of Hillsboro, Oregon, finished first in both the javelin (68.41 meters/224-5) and shot put (18.11 meters /59-5) and is now fourth on the all-time outdoor program list in the javelin and eighth all-time in the shot put.
