OKLAHOMA CITY — Maybe the NBA schedule-maker had a hunch that the game played between the Utah Jazz and Oklahoma City Thunder would be entertaining, so he decided to do a quick rematch.
Or maybe he just wanted to make life hard on Utah.
Whatever the real case, the Jazz and Thunder will square off again Sunday night after facing each other to begin the weekend Friday night.
It’s a rare scheduling quirk, but at least the Jazz are coming into this game — already their third of the season against the Thunder — with some confidence after turning a seeming blowout into a fun, down-to-the-wire showdown.
