Utah Jazz Disappoint in Key Match-Up With Griffin, Clippers

After a first-half grind, it’s the last week of games in the NBA before the All-Star Break. For the perpetually banged-up Utah Jazz, it’s a respite that couldn’t have come any sooner. But before players take off for their vacations and before Gordon Hayward suits up for his first All-Star Game, there are games to be played.

On Monday, the Jazz began the week against the Los Angeles Clippers in what many considered a sneak peek at a first-round playoff series. However, given what transpired, Jazz fans are probably praying that’s not the case.

Despite the fact that the Clippers were without Chris Paul in the contest, the Jazz responded with one of their more uninspired efforts of the season.
