The Roundup—Jazz 96, Pelicans 100

In a game that was predictably sloppy (after last night’s overtime win in Dallas), the Utah Jazz held a late lead before faltering down the stretch and eventually falling to the Pelicans 100-96 Wednesday night in New Orleans.

The loss snapped Utah’s seven-game win streak as the Jazz now head into the All-Star break.

Derrick Favors scored a game-high 29 points, while Gordon Hayward once against struggled early before turning it on late—he scored 18 of his 21 points in the second half.

Rodney Hood (15 points) and Rudy Gobert (12 points, 14 rebounds, two blocks) also scored in double figures for the Jazz (26-26).
