NEW YORK — The Utah Jazz will avoid what could be one of the worst storms in the history of the Washington D.C. area.

Because of an impending blizzard that's forecasted to hammer the Mid-Atlantic area, the NBA has postponed Saturday's game against the Wizards at the Verizon Center.

No makeup date has yet been scheduled by the NBA.
