How the Utah Jazz could end up facing the Houston Rockets again in the first round of the NBA playoffs

Over the past two years, the Houston Rockets have become the Utah Jazz’s primary nemesis, beating them soundly in the playoffs both seasons, with a number of their players becoming severely disliked by Jazz fans in the process.

Now, if one proposal for the NBA’s return in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic comes to fruition, they would square off once again in the first round of the playoffs.

In a podcast released Monday, ESPN’s Brian Windhorst Bobby Marks and Tim Bontemps discussed a possibility that would see just the 16 teams that are now in playoff standing go to a bubble in Orlando and play out the postseason.
