Volleyball head coach J.T. Wenger released the 2017 schedule Tuesday morning.
The schedule features 16 home matches and 13 away matches.
The volleyball team will tip off its season with the UTA Invitational on Aug. 25-26 with matches against Southern University, McNeese State University and the University of Houston.
“It’ll be a good opportunity for us to get a start on our home court,” Wenger said.
The UTA Invitational is one of two home tournaments, including the Maverick Classic, which is set for Sept. 14-16. The tournament will begin with a match against the University of California, Davis followed by Houston Baptist University, Lamar University and Arizona State University.
