UTA Volleyball head coach J.T. Wenger is set to fill Diane Seymour’s shoes.
Athletic director Jim Baker announced J.T. Wenger was hired as the new head coach for the volleyball team on Jan. 25. Wenger was an assistant coach with Michigan State last season and this will be his first collegiate head coaching position.
Courtesy: UTA AthleticsOut of a pool of 40 to 45 candidates, athletic director Jim Baker offered Wenger the position in January. He met the team shortly after the announcement.
“It has been a lot of fun, getting life together, coming down to Arlington and getting everything squared away, meeting the team,” Wenger said.
