The season isn’t over for the men’s basketball team.
The Mavericks received a bid to play in the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament, CIT, following their semifinal elimination from the Sun Belt Championship.
Head coach Scott Cross said his team is appreciative of an opportunity to be able to participate in a postseason tournament.
“We have a very resilient group that has already had one of the best seasons in school history,” Cross said, according to www.utamavs.com. “Playing in the postseason is something we don't take for granted. I'm proud of this team and we're not ready for our season to end.
