The top rebounding team in NCAA Division I basketball just got bigger.
Scott Cross, UTA men’s basketball coach, announced the acquisition of former TCU Horned Frog, Link Kabadyundi.
The 7-foot-1 center spent his freshman season with the Horned Frogs where he appeared in 15 games and averaged 1.3 points and 1.3 rebounds per game. He transferred to Blinn Junior College for his sophomore season where he averaged 8.9 points and 11.1 rebounds while shooting 58.1 percent from the floor in 17 games.
“We are extremely excited about the addition of Link Kabadyundi,” Cross said. “Link is what every Maverick fan has been waiting for: a true big man that can go toe-to-toe with the biggest post players in college basketball.
