Junior infielder Christian Hollie was selected to play on the Coastal Plain League Select Team.
The team will face the USA Collegiate National Team on Monday at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina.
Hollie sat out part of the 2017 season because of a hand injury. He returned to start in 26 of 31 appearances and averaged 0.270 in batting. With a 0.4 slugging percentage, the junior recorded three home runs, one triple and two doubles and reeled in 16 RBIs.
As a freshman, he started in 50 of 53 appearances and marked the record book, as he stood on a 10-game hit streak — the third-longest in program history.
