For the first time, the men’s golf team gathered in its new clubhouse to watch the Ryder Cup, eat pizza, and of course, golf.
“Coach decided to give us a day off and just kind of hang out as a team,” senior Josh Radcliff said, taking a break from the putting green. “The guys are having a fun time.”
Head coach Stuart Deane’s vision of team bonding was made a reality Friday. With couches, a television, a putting green and grass added, the clubhouse is now open to the team as it nears completion.
“The idea was to give them a place where they could have team bonding,” Deane said.
